This isn't a costume for me.
I'm unhoused right now. I don't say that for sympathy — I say it because when people joke about "living like a hobo," they usually mean something they'll never actually do. I don't have that luxury. Going sockless isn't a fashion choice for me. It's just where I'm at.
Somewhere in that, I figured out what actually stops your feet from smelling when you don't have the option of fresh socks every day. So I'm turning that into something real: a product that works, sold honestly, with half the profit going back to people in the same spot I'm in.
No mockery here. Just someone telling the truth about where this came from, and trying to make something good out of it.
